Today I found out that the library assistant job that one of the librarians said I was first in line for was filled. �I found out in an email to all the employees. �I was never supposed to know about the possibility of the job, so no harm done. �But since I do know the facts it makes me think that any promotion I go for at this particular job is going to be a dead end. �I'm going to look harder for other employment. �I've put this place above my other job, but it's time to stop that practice.
