I entered a contest a couple of weeks ago, and I found out yesterday that my submission came in 6th place. That�s not bad. But I�m still pissed off. Not to sit here and tell you that I�m �God�s� gift to photography. I know I�m not the greatest of all time. However, four out of the five that �beat� me were trash. Devoid of any artistic merit. And yet they won, and I didn�t. I think I�m going to stop submitting my work to contests. It only ends up disappointing me when I lose to mediocre work.
