I had two entries ready, but they seem to combine well, since they are the same idea.

(entry 1) Cute Prof. 2 is on the radar, but so is a new girl that a friend of a friend is trying to hook me up with. My friend says that this means the Universe doesn't want me to be alone. Perhaps... especially since I declared that I would be a little while back. Even with the multiple irons I'm not making the mistake of falling for any of them -- I'm keeping my guard up this time. Last time I let it down I got my heart broken. But what else is new?

(entry 2) All I ever asked for was a chance, a partner in this long journey -- which was OBVIOUSLY too much to ask for. Obviously.
