I hate to say it but one of my new jobs has taught me to just be standoffish and keep to myself. I went into work Friday and walked past one of the managers and she called me on it. She said, "So you don't say hi to anybody?" I made the excuse that I was listening to my ipod, which I was -- truth is I go to work to work, not to socialize. I don't need any of them to be my friends.
