I don't want to get close to anyone because I fear that they'll just break my heart -- like so many times in the past. Yet, I know that being the kind of person I am I WILL open my heart again -- and I will get hurt -- and I'll make the same promise that I will never get close to anyone ever again. This is just something I'm going to go in circles with for the rest of my life.
