Suddenly, about a month ago, all the little things started to go wrong in my life. I don't like where things are headed.

My ex-girlfriend called me last night to tell me that her mother has lung cancer. I gave her some advice, seeing as I lost my Mother and Grandmother to cancer. She's in shock, to say the least. She couldn't tell me what stage it was. She doesn't understand the magnitude of such a thing... yet. :(
