Because people seem to want my attention I have learned to be more aloof these days -- I mean it's nothing personal, but I like creating a bit of a buffer between me and the majority of people in the world. As a co-worker pointed out, my politeness and friendly exterior wrongly causes people to think that I'm just going to open my arms to them. I mean being aloof doesn't mean that I will... I'm just selective.
