A few months I submitted some of my photos to the literary magazine on campus -- I got a copy of it yesterday and found that my work didn't make it in. The work that did make it in is sub par at best -- and honestly can be called boring and banal. It's sad that my work wasn't recognized, because it really is head and shoulders above what was published.
