I have problems connecting emotionally with people -- which might be the source of my bachelorhood.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine lost her Grandmother. Having lost my Grandmother this year you would think that I would be sympathetic and feel something -- but I didn't feel a thing. I gave the polite "I'm sorry" but I didn't feel a thing.
